Coens Pond Practice Dates for 2008

The dates listed below are the Possible dates the pond is open – Please go to the web site for confirmation. www.kmaracing.org

May 10th,May 17th, May 24th, May 31st, June 7th, June 14th, June 21st, July 5th (noon to 3:00), July 12th, August 9th, August 16th, August 23rd, August 30th, September 6th, September 13th, September 20th

Time of Use: 12:00 noon to 5:00 p.m. except for July 5th which is 12:00 noon to 3:00 p.m.

Unless noted, being allowed to practice at this training pond is done on a invitation basis only. Please contact Eric or Dale if you want to be included.

2007 Pond Rules

1. No Alcohol shall be consumed by anyone who is a driver until finished practicing.

2. No alcohol shall be consumed by any minors, drivers or not

3. All garbage shall be picked up and taken home with the sleds

4. All contaminated gasoline shall be placed in the waste barrel. Not on the ground.

5. All drivers must take turns or wait for Pond Official to give the OK to go across the water

6. All snowmobiles must have safety check before running course per IWA rules

7. All drivers must wear helmet & life vest rated per IWA rules

8. This permit is good for dates as shown above Only and is only valid from 12:00 noon until 5:00 p.m.

All sleds must be off the water by 5:00 –(with the exception of July 5th which is 12:00 to 3:00)No exceptions

9. At the end of the race year you will be asked to participate in the annual wood cutting at Dale Coen’s house in appreciation for the use of the practice pond. You must understand that if you do not, you will not be allowed to practice the following year unless special arrangements are made with Dale Coen

10. You are responsible for yourself, your pit crew and anyone who comes with you or comes to watch you practice. If you or any of your party does not follow these rules you will be asked to leave and may not be allowed to come back to practice. If this happens you will not be refunded any of your donation which was paid to practice here.

11. Please leave the bottom two spots near the water on the left side open for the KMA race trailer and motor home.

12. This place is to practice watercross racing and have fun at the same time. No IWA or any other organization politics allowed.
